- It’s a very touristic place with overpriced stuff (7£/beer).
- The riverside is packed the morning and the evening, even off-season.
🏠 Accommodation
We stayed at the Yinji Inn, delicious breakfast, room with river view, big and clean room for 30£/night. Helpful staff who booked us bus tickets to Guilin.
🚲 Getting there
We came by bus from Zhangjiajie, took us 3h30 and was very smooth.
⏱ Duration
We stayed two nights and was perfect.
Day on the river 🏞
It’s a little pretty city, build on the Tuo River. We didn’t explored much the surrounding since pretty tired from the previous days, but we decided to take it easy and enjoy a nice and charming landscape. We simply walked around the tiny street of the city, and enjoyed a beautiful but overpriced boat cruise of 15 minutes on the river.
Food wise, we found plenty of restaurants, including american fast food, but nothing crazy. We enjoyed very much this little break from the big cities.
